Description
The square within a square composition of the design is contrasted by the circular overlapping shapes of the motifs housed within. The Celtic motifs with vibrant contrasting colours, outlined in gold, are set against an ivory background giving it a contemporary quality. These colours, embellished in gold and bronze, add a richness in keeping with Christian Celtic manuscript artwork of the middle ages. Celtic motifs are not only intricate art forms, but are also considered to contain symbols of a sacred knowledge.
